A private tour and tasting of five
of the finest wines produced by Coppo. This exclusive experience is designed for
a wide range of customers: the lone wine lover, for couples or a group of
friends. A visit to Coppo’s historical cellars, acknowledged as a UNESCO World
Heritage Site, is a chance to learn about the key stages that have helped in
shaping the centennial mission of the Family: expressing the potential of this
territory and its varieties at their best. The final tasting is a tribute to the
excellences of Coppo. It all begins with the spumante. Canelli home to the
Metodo Classico spumante in Italy. The brut Metodo Classico Riserva del
Fondatore, named after the winery’s founder, Piero Coppo, is produced in very
limited quantities, using vintages with extraordinary value and capable of
exceptional longevity.
Monteriolo and Pomorosso, award-winning labels by Coppo, will be tasted:
since the 1980s and 1990s, these have drawn international recognition to the
winery and its efforts in promoting Barbera and Chardonnay. But rare labels,
like those belonging to the Riserve della Famiglia, single-vineyard wines
produced in extremely limited quantities since 1998, are also available for
tasting.
The tour ends with a tasting of 5 iconic Coppo wines:
- Piero Coppo Riserva del Fondatore Spumante Brut
- Monteriolo Chardonnay
- Riserva della Famiglia Chardonnay
- Pomorosso Barbera
- Riserva della Famiglia Barbera
