With the early-1900 manor house behind, you will find yourselves in front of the new circular-shaped cellar that recalls an Etruscan tomb. The cellar is partially located underground which allows natural thermoregulation. Upon entering the cellar, you will be greeted by the barriques arranged in a semicircle and by the tonneaus where the future Bolgheri is kept to refine. The special lighting of the ceiling seems to take you back in time, when the paths were illuminated only by the stars and an occasional comet.
The tour includes the tasting of 4 wines and 1 extra virgin olive oil:
- Vermentino IGT Toscana: in this area, there is a unique varietal expression, hinting spic-es and floral notes – this, in Bolgheri, is the most common among the white grapes
- Bolgheri Rosato DOC: obtained mainly from Bordeaux grapes, it is a wine that, in addition to its pleasantness, offers a remarkable persistence on the palate
- Cabernet Sauvignon IGT Toscana: here, it finds the best conditions to grow, thanks to the type of soil and microclimate, and it expresses its great power and elegance
- Stupore Bolgheri Rosso DOC (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah): it expresses the peculiarity of the Tuscan coast to the fullest
