A Master Class on Sangiovese, designed to reveal the evolution and future of the Chianti Classico appellation. With the division of Chianti Classico in U.G.A. (Additional Geographical Units) the Mazzei family decided to enhance Sangiovese through the biodiversity of its "terroirs" by creating 3 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione from 3 different municipalities. The tour includes a private visit of the Author’s Cellar of Castello di Fonterutoli, technical in-depth study of the characteristics of the 3 Crus and tasting of the 3 Gran Selezione, plus an old vintage of each CRU, in the dedicated tasting room
